Roasted Cinnamon Ginger Maple Pears

A simple yet elegant nod to one of fall’s favorite fruits.

Ingredients
2 pears, halved and cored
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 tablespoon butter, melted
pinch of ground cinnamon
pinch of ground ginger
vanilla yogurt
walnuts, as garnish

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8″ x 8″ pan with parchment paper.

Place pears onto the pan and drizzle over maple syrup and butter.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and ginger.

Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Before serving, add a scoop of vanilla yogurt into the center of each pear and sprinkle with walnuts.
